Hit and Run Drift Club 180SX

When you work at a place like Drift School Australia, chances are you will encounter some of Aussies best drivers, and their high spec’d machines.

A couple of weeks back, Jack from Hit and Run Drift Club was on site with a few other guys doing passenger rides, so Robin took the opportunity to get some snaps of the 180SX.

The exterior runs a mix of Dmax and Origin parts.

Front, rear and side skirts are Dmax Type 3, Dmax tail lights and roof wing grace the back end and it is all wrapped together with Origin wide body fenders.

The 180 has been re-sprayed in a metallic purple with flake and red candy by Fat57 Customs, and the graphics are by D-Magic.

The 18×9.5j and 10.5j Rays Gram Light 57D’s in fluro set the scheme off perfectly.

In the suspension department the 180 has an S15 rear sub-frame swap, PBM coil overs, Driftworks knuckles with Ikeya formula and Cusco arms.

Under the hood resides a 1JZ pulled from a JZX90, sucking air through a GTX3582R turbo.

LQ9 Coils provide the spark, and the E85 fuel is delivered through 1600cc injectors all controlled by a Haltech ecu, and as smashing gears is essential the 1J is backed up by a Jerico 4 speed with Dale Earnhardt shifter and a DCS billet twin plate clutch which sends all the power out to the rear wheels via an R33 GTR Nismo 2way diff.

Things inside are kept basic, with Bride seats, an S14 dash and a full roll cage to keep Jack and his passengers snug and safe while attacking the tarmac.
